You might arrive knowing exactly what you need support with. Or you might simply know that something isn't working — and not yet have the words for it. Both are completely okay.
Trauma
Many people come to me not knowing that trauma is at the root of what they're experiencing. They arrive with anxiety that won't shift, depression that keeps returning, or a persistent feeling of being stuck — in their relationships, their work, their sense of who they are.
Others know they've been through something difficult, but struggle to put it into words. Some carry shame about their experiences. Some have tried to address it before and found it hard to move forward.
Wherever you are in your understanding of your own story, I offer a relational, compassionate approach to trauma work. I believe that trauma work is also grief work — it asks us to grieve what happened, and sometimes what didn't. I hold that process with great care.
My focus is to help you understand what is happening in the here and now, and — at the pace that is right for you — to explore the roots of that experience, so that you can begin to live more freely.
Self-Worth
So many of the struggles people bring to therapy trace back, in some way, to how they feel about themselves. The harsh inner critic. The sense of not being enough. The way old messages from the past shape how you move through the present.
I help people develop a kinder, more honest relationship with themselves — not through toxic positivity, but through genuine understanding of where those beliefs came from and what it would mean to let them soften.
Body Image
Our relationship with our bodies is often one of the most intimate and complicated relationships we have. Body image struggles rarely exist in isolation — they are frequently connected to experiences of shame, control, trauma, and self-worth.
I offer thoughtful, non-judgemental support for those navigating difficult relationships with their bodies, whatever form that takes.
Grief & Loss
Grief is not only about bereavement. People grieve relationships, versions of themselves, futures that didn't come to pass, and childhoods they deserved but didn't have.
I work with grief in all its forms — gently, at your pace, with deep respect for the unique shape of your loss.
