Beyond one-to-one work, I offer consultancy, training and clinical supervision to organisations and practitioners. With over 15 years of experience, I help build psychologically informed practice, support staff wellbeing, and strengthen the relational health of teams.
Caring work is relational work — and it changes the carer. Teams in healthcare, social care, emergency services, education, fostering, hospice and therapeutic settings carry a particular kind of emotional labour. Daily exposure to others’ distress, attachment-led caregiving, and high-stakes relational work all shape the nervous systems of the people doing it. Without proper support, this can lead to compassion fatigue, burnout, secondary trauma and high turnover — costs felt across the whole organisation.
This is the audience I specialise in. My training is not generic wellbeing content adapted on the fly, but bespoke, clinically informed sessions tailored to the realities of caring roles. Core focus areas include:
Trauma awareness for caring teams, vicarious and secondary trauma, attachment and relational trauma, and working with dysregulated service users.
Recognising your own activation, compassion fatigue and burnout, self-soothing and nervous system care, and sustainable caring practices.
Compassion-focused leadership, team dynamics in high-stress roles, boundaries and relational containment, and building psychologically safe teams.
Training can be delivered as 90-minute single sessions, half- or full-day workshops, multi-session programmes that allow integration and skill-building over time, or fully bespoke consulting engagements that include assessment, training and follow-up for organisations building a long-term trauma-informed culture. All training is available online, in person, or hybrid, and is tailored to your team’s specific roles, sector, and current challenges.
I also design tailored educational programmes for organisations to use with their own staff — including teaching content and short-form video — which can be licensed for ongoing internal use, subject to discussion.
